Atticus Finch Courage
Atticus Finch shows moral courage in the novel To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee through standing up to Bob Ewell and always thinking putting himself in someone else's position before he talks. After Bob Ewell spit on Atticus’s face he said, “No, too old” (pg.221). This shows his good morals because instead of getting in a fight with Bob he just wipes the spit off and keeps walking. He also shows moral courage because he didn’t have a bad attitude about it, so Bob took his anger out on him instead of his children, even though Scout and Jem were very worried about Atticus. Atticus said this to scout about Miss Caroline judging the Cunninghams on the way they look “... You never understand a person until you consider things from his point of view-...until you climb into his skin and walk around in it” (pg.30). This shows how he thinks about people before he gets mad at them which he used against Bob Ewell after he spit on him. If he didn’t do this when Bob Ewell spit on him there could’ve been a fight. Atticus shows moral courage from standing up to Bob Ewell and thinking before he talks about other people.

Interview
During this project we conducted interviews to find other peoples perspective on courage, then we had to pull a courageous quote from the interview and this is mine from a high school student we interviewed.
"If you had asked like two years ago if I would go play like a pick up soccer game I would've said no way, and now I would probably go play even though my doctors would get upset with me."
